“We believe every child deserves a place to be inspired, to learn, and to thrive. We believe that when a community comes together to support the children in our community and help them achieve their dreams, we become an ‘ohana (family). The heart of Nā Koa Kai Canoe Club is to provide every opportunity for each keiki (child) in our program to build their hope for their future.Through the San Diego Shaka Fest each year, we give them the spotlight to celebrate them and their achievements. ”
